Aston Martin RapidE – 2019 electric cars
Aston Martin has officially confirmed the arrival of the entire sports car Rapide E. The first model of British cars will be fully launched in the fourth quarter of 2019. Only 155 units of the Rapide E will be built, each sold at an undisclosed price. In addition to announcing the four-door EV launch schedule, Aston Martin also dropped a small amount of information about the electric vehicle, including its power and performance potential.
From afar, the Aston Aston Martin RapidE seems ready to work closely. The model will not arrive until next year, but if it is capable of all the things that Aston Martin and Williams Advanced Engineering says, we can look at a year of massive construction of the first EV model from Aston.
Once put into the market, Aston Martin RapidE is expected to meet buyers who are looking for EV who sits above anything produced by Tesla. This is the high level that needs to be put in place, especially for the company that still, at least theoretically, dips its toes in this new part. But RapidE is far from just a concept now. It already happens. We know very little about it other than reports that will have 800 horsepower and about 200 miles of range.
When the car’s battery reaches a great extent, Aston Martin says it takes about one hour to charge the battery to a range of up to 185 miles, that is, if you are using a 400-volt (50 kW) truck. In case you want to charge the Rapide E faster, the 800-volt port with 100 kW or higher can recharge the battery to 310 miles of band per hour. In this case, it may take about 40 minutes or so for Aston Martin RapidE to get a full set of “over 200 miles” again.
