At this point, Lexus is thinking about it, so the company added the F Sport for the first time as part of the ES 2019 lineup. It took seven generations to move a mid-size sedan deep into this sports space. Lexus wants to expand its customer base for best-selling sedans and believes that the addition of F Sport will attract customers 10 years smaller than the average ES buyer.
This is the third chapter of the Lexus development, and designers have been given the freedom to create new silhouettes. So we headed for Nashville for the first time behind the new wheel, which is longer, shorter and wider than before. The design is bolder, yet command LC and LS. The LED backlights wrap around the cab and contribute to the wider and more planted position that is permeated by chrome exhaust tips.

As with the previous generation, there is also a gasoline and electric hybrid, called the ES300h. The Toyota system typically uses a new, narrower, longer 176-horsepower engine and a 2.5-liter engine embedded with two electric drives. The total output of the 215 horsepower capacity is 15 horsepower during 2018. As in the past, Lexus prefers a battery of nickel metal and hydrogen over lithium-ion, and the brand clearly believes that the hybrid’s goal is to improve fuel economy and not overtime performance. The modified and more integrated CVT transmission, equipped with paddles to provide programmed switches, sends torque to the front wheels. Lexus says that the mix should run from zero to 60 mph at the same time as the outward model (we measured 7.8 seconds for that one). But Lexus’s fuel economy estimates are impressive: 44 mpg, 45 freeways, and 44 combined, improvements to 4 mpg on the city, combined figures, and a 6 mpg improvement on the highway, where few hybrids excel.
The 2019 lexus es 350 f sport will start in September with an expected pricing of $ 39,000 for the ES 350 and a premium of about $ 2,700 or less for the ES 300h hybrid.
